DPS/VIP has been granted an exception to the current P-Card
requirement by the Department of Accounts that permits use of
the Small Purchase Charge card for DPS/VIP Course Registration.
The Exemption states:
"The purpose of the P-Card is to reduce administrative efforts
and provide cost savings for the Commonwealth in general;
therefore, given the description of the process and the effort
(and money) that would be required for DPS/DGS to accept IAT’s
given the volume of attendees, an exception is granted to the
current SPCC Topic 20355, item IAT for State Classes & Services
dated December 2004".
IATs:
DPS/VIP Forum and course registration are handled by an outside
vendor, which further limits our ability to efficiently process
IATs. To pay by IAT, complete and print the online Registration
Forum. Complete your agency IAT paperwork. Mail paperwork to:
Letha Ferrell, DPS Forum Registration, 1111 E. Broad St.,
Richmond, VA, 23219. Email Confirmation will be sent when
paperwork is processed by DPS and our registration vendor. Print and save your email as your
receipt. PLEASE NOTE: This process may take 2-3 weeks. Registration
is not confirmed until IAT is fully processed.
